Did You Know…

The next time you open our Online Quoting System you will see some

significant modifications and improvements!

• We have given you the capability to run up to five different carriers with different

risk adjustment factors on the side-by-side comparison. Prior to this change

you were able to run your side by side quote with the different carriers but

they all had to reflect the same RAF.

• You know that Nationwide implemented promising rate changes January 1, 2005.

What you may not know is that currently Ben-e-lects Online Quoting System

is one of the few systems in the state which can accurately calculate the new rates

and project claims cost by benefit design. You can run a January quote right now

and know that the cost you see is accurate.

• Also, in addition to the 18 plans, 8 Carriers and unlimited plan designs we

currently offer, the beginning of 2005 has more plans on deck which you will

see added to the system very soon.

• Another change in the works is the ability to override claimants for each

individual plan design. Many times you asked us to change the expected claims

by plan because you know when a group is healthy or unhealthy, or you wanted to

show a $5000 deductible next to a $2000 deductible. With this new modification

you can accurately detail the expected claims, which will more accurately project

the actual cost when presenting the higher deductible.

• Many of you have asked us to modify the defined contribution capability

in our system. In the next few weeks, you will be able to input contributions by

employee or employer and a $$ Dollar amount or a percent.
