Did You Know…
One service provided by Ben-e-lect, which is commonly overlooked, is the administration of the 1099 forms.
Many Brokers and Employers alike are often unaware that companies who
elect self-funding for their employees are bound by law to issue a 1099
to Providers and Pharmacists for claims paid out in the preceding tax year.
This service is not offered by many TPAs in the industry, but at Ben-e-lect we
insist that our customer service and administration offerings are among the top
in the Nation.
The process is extremely seamless. Our claims department processes the 1099
Forms by January 31st, mails them to the providers and pharmacists, submits them
electronically to the IRS and retains the Employers copies here in our office.
The Employer is welcome to request copies from our claims department at any time,
otherwise they are kept on file in our office.
